Yoga by Sally

About Us

Holistic Yoga by Sally—a new business in Bozeman, Montana—serves those who want to begin a yoga practice or continue their current practice. Sally is a certified yoga instructor with many holistic workshops under her belt. She has studied with some of the best yoga teachers locally and abroad. She believes in classes that are invigorating, challenging, safe, and compassionate. While she respects all hatha yoga methods, Sally finds that Iyengar-style yoga is her calling. Based on proper alignment and total body awareness, Iyengar-inspired asanas (postures) can help avoid injuries.

Holistic - What Does That Mean?

Yoga is an ancient practice proven to heal and provide relief for many types of stress, depression and chronic pain through physical postures , eating well, sleeping soundly and living a joyful and generous life. We use the word holistic to point out that yoga benefits multiple areas of your health and wellness.

What About Religion - Do We Have to Learn Sanskrit?

No. Everyone – no matter what your faith – is welcome.

Will I Be Sore After Class?

Maybe. Some muscles become stagnant and “stuck” if we don’t use them correctly. More than likely you will leave Sally’s class invigorated, alert, and relaxed.

Safe & Compassionate

We believe in practicing yoga with concentration and awareness. While it is beneficial to “push” oneself in order to build strength, flexibility and balance, practitioners will never be forced into a pose that doesn't suit their particular body. We are all built differently!
